about
I love makeup. A lot. It is so much more to me than products you apply to your face. Makeup is an accessory to an outfit—it expresses style and personality—it is an art form. I discovered my love for makeup as a little girl while playing in my mother’s makeup drawer preparing for ballet recitals. Makeup made me feel more beautiful. More inspired. I realized when you enhance your God-given, physical beauty, it is more than just an outer transformation. Looking and feeling beautiful makes you feel powerful. You exude confidence and joy.
After years of putting my advertising degree to good use, I decided to fully embrace my love for makeup artistry and hair styling and made my hobby my career. I first established my business in the bridal industry, but now, I spend a lot of my days on set for commercials, backstage at events and in studio for photo shoots. I love being an artist, but the best part of my job is building relationships with my clients and it is essential for that connection to be built on communication, collaboration and trust.
I feel I am best known for my soft, natural approach, but I love every chance I have to play with color and texture. While beauty trends both past and present inspire my work, it is often the other creative folks I get to collaborate with who give me energy. I look for the beauty in everything and everyone around me, and man, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude that my work allows me to travel, be an artist, love on people, and make them look and feel their best.
